After Rembrandt, Gauguin, Picasso and the Impressionists in Paris such as Cezanne,
Castle Sismondo for 2012 will host another wonderful journey through masterpieces and
celebrated artists around the world.
One hundred masterpieces of art history by Mantegna and Raphael to Picasso and Kandinsky,
and Pollock to Hopper, the great exhibition of painting and the Malatesta Fortress
will host from 21 January to 6 June 2012, sees the continuation of the collaboration
between the Foundation Cassa di Rimini Line and Shadow.
The curator Marco Goldin has shown that in every century including the exposition will be
exposed to the best of what Europe has been created.
Thus, for example, the '600 will work mainly Dutch, the Venetian '700, and so on.
Exceptionally also on display will be "Jesus with Martha and Mary" by Johannes Vermeer
the largest of only 36 paintings officially attributed to the Dutch artist in 20 years.
