July in Rimini: Culture, Music and Pure Fun
July opens with the Italian Global Series Festival (3–11 July), the international showcase dedicated to the world of television series. Stars of Italian and international cinema and TV fill the Teatro Galli and the Corte degli Agostiniani: confirmed guests include Matilde Gioli, Sabrina Ferilli, Marco Giallini, Lino Banfi and many more.
From 12 to 19 July, it's time for Cartoon Club, the 42nd edition of the International Festival of Animation Cinema, Comics and Games. Exhibitions, screenings, cosplay, contests and talks with authors bring Piazzale Fellini and Marina Centro to life in a burst of creativity and pop culture — free admission and open to all
On 24 July, the Corte degli Agostiniani welcomes Patrick Watson with his Uh Oh Tour 2026, one of the most eagerly awaited concerts of the summer for lovers of quality music. Jazz fans are also well served, with three Crossroads evenings: Lakecia Benjamin Phoenix (14 July), Italian Jazz Orchestra featuring Simona Molinari (28 July) and Ray Gelato & The Giants (31 July).
Every Wednesday evening throughout July, the historic center comes alive with Rimini Shopping Night : late-night shop openings, live music, street entertainment and the unique atmosphere of a city that truly knows how to live summer.
The month closes in style with #RiminiWow (31 July – 2 August): three evenings at Piazzale Fellini featuring Me Contro Te, Dieffe Bros and Italy's most-followed social media collectives. A spectacular event for families and younger audiences, with live shows, music and non-stop entertainment
August in Rimini: the Month of the Big Celebration
August confirms Rimini as the undisputed capital of the Italian summer. The month kicks off with RIM – Rimini in Musica (30 July – 1 August), setting the tone for a packed and varied programme.
From 31 July to 9 August, La Terrazza della Dolce Vita returns — the open-air salon created by Simona Ventura and Giovanni Terzi, set against the iconic backdrop of the Grand Hotel di Rimini: conversations, encounters and guests from the worlds of culture, entertainment and public life, right by the sea.
On 9 August, the Teatro Galli hosts Anna von Hausswolff with the Iconoclasts Tour: a unique musical journey blending rock, intimacy and pipe organ into an unforgettable sonic experience

From 8 August to the end of September, Le Città Visibili – Festival of Theatre and Music brings shows and performances to urban spaces across the whole city.
From 21 to 26 August, the Meeting for Friendship Among Peoples returns to the Rimini Expo Centre — one of the most important cultural and spiritual gatherings in Italy. The 2026 edition will be historic: Pope Leo XIV is expected on 22 August, a visit that brings a Pope back to the Meeting for the first time in 44 years
September in Rimini: Sport, Motors and Tradition
September doesn't mark the end of the Rimini summer — it celebrates it with some of the most spectacular events of the whole season.
From 10 to 13 September, the Misano World Circuit hosts the San Marino and Riviera di Rimini Grand Prix, one of the most anticipated rounds on the MotoGP world calendar. Three days of pure adrenaline, world champions and an atmosphere that turns the entire Riviera into one big motorsport celebration
Also in September: the Festival della Cultura Sportiva, Balamondo and the traditional Festa de' Borg, which bring the flavours, sounds and most authentic soul of Romagna back to the alleys of the historic center.
